Return Policy
At AmtecShop.com, we want you to be completely satisfied with your purchase. If you’re not happy with your purchase and would like to arrange a return, please follow the guidelines below.
To initiate a return, please send an email to info@amtecshop.com. Our Support team will assist you in completing the return process for any of the following reasons, within 30 days of the original purchase date:
- Unmodified or unused product in original packaging
- Incorrect item received
If the product(s) was purchased over 30 days ago, or has been modified, soldered, damaged, or altered in any way from its original state, we reserve the right to deny the return.
General Return Guidelines
- Return Initiation: All returns must be initiated via email to info@amtecshop.com within 30 days of purchase.
- Return Authorization: All returns must be authorized by our Support team prior to returning any product(s). Please wait for an authorization email before sending your items back.
- Condition of Product(s): Returns must include all parts, accessories, and packaging that came with the product(s). If the return is incomplete or damaged, it may be denied.
- Refunds: Refunds (if applicable) will be processed back to the original payment method or as store credit, based on your preference.
- Restocking Fees: Returns of certain products, including but not limited to products that include subscriptions, services, or software, may be subject to a restocking fee. Any applicable fees will be included in your return authorization details once your return request is approved.
- Return Processing Time: Returns may take up to 2 weeks to process, excluding shipping transit time.
- Replacement Orders: Replacement orders cannot be modified to include different or additional products.
- Return Shipping: If the return is due to an error on our part (such as damage during shipping or an incorrect item), we will cover the return shipping charges. For all other returns, the customer is responsible for return shipping.
- 30-Day Return Window: Orders older than 30 days are eligible for a replacement or store credit only.
- Limited Support on Older Items: We reserve the right to limit support and deny returns on items purchased more than 30 days ago, ding-and-dent items, older version products, and items that cannot be restocked.
Eligibility for Modified Product Returns
Returns of modified products will be evaluated on a case-by-case basis. While we cannot guarantee eligibility for returns on modified items, we encourage you to reach out to our Technical Assistance page for guidance and support.
Shipping Your Return
To ensure the best service and minimize the risk of loss or damage during return shipping, we recommend using a trackable shipping method. Non-tracked returns are not guaranteed, and we cannot be responsible for lost packages sent via non-tracked methods. Additionally, we recommend using a box or reinforced padded envelope for packaging the returned items.
Non-Returnable Items
Unfortunately, some items are non-returnable. These include:
- Batteries:
- Lithium Ion Batteries
- Lithium Metal Batteries
- Lithium Coin Cell Batteries
- NiMH Batteries
- Alkaline Batteries
- Products containing Lithium Ion Batteries
- CNC Routers, 3D Printers, and Accessories:
- Opened 3D Printer Filament (factory-sealed may be returned)
- Shapeoko (Partially or fully assembled)
- 3D Printers (contact manufacturer for support/repairs)
- Specialized Products:
- pi-top
- UArm Swift and Swift Pro (contact UFactory for support/repairs)
- Nebra HNT Helium Hotspot Miners (non-returnable once onboarded to the Helium Network)
- SparkX Products:
- Experimental SparkX products are tested but come with no guarantees. These products are not eligible for returns. No live technical support is available for SparkX products.
If a non-returnable item arrives damaged or is not functioning properly, please contact us to explore potential solutions. We may be able to offer assistance based on the issue.
Shipping Regulations
Please note that, due to shipping regulations, Lithium Ion Batteries cannot be shipped without proper certification. If you need to return products that contain Lithium Ion batteries, please ensure you are in compliance with all shipping regulations.
